The North Karachi Association of Trade & Industry (NKATI) has expressed serious concern over the government's policy of daily petroleum price revisions, warning it will impede economic stability and sustainable growth. NKATI President Faisal Moiz Khan stated that this policy, alongside existing high inflation and production costs, adds significant instability for manufacturers and exporters. He highlighted that unpredictable fuel costs disrupt production schedules, export orders, and supply chains, making long-term business planning difficult. This ongoing economic uncertainty and pressure on the export sector could further strain the Pakistani Rupee, potentially supporting local gold prices as a hedge against inflation.
