Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Saturday, with per tola gold gaining Rs2,400 to reach Rs424,236, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Similarly, 10-gram gold increased by Rs2,057, selling at Rs363,713. This local uptick followed a $24 rise in the international gold rate, which hit $4,018 per ounce. Silver also saw an increase of Rs41, reaching Rs6,070 per tola. Sustained international gold momentum could lead to further upward pressure on local gold and silver prices.
