TDAP Facilitates Rice Exporters' China Visit to Boost Exports, FX Earnings

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is facilitating a 20-member delegation from the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) to China from July 20-28, 2026. The delegation will hold business meetings in Guangzhou and Beijing to explore new opportunities and promote Pakistani rice varieties, including Basmati. Pakistan exported rice worth USD 146 million to China in FY2025-26, and this visit aims to further enhance market presence and secure new orders. Increased exports of key commodities like rice can positively impact Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves and potentially support the PKR against the USD.
