Gold nears two-week high on Fed outlook, Middle East tensions; silver also gains

Spot gold climbed 0.9% to $4,113.73 per ounce, reaching its highest since July 10, with US gold futures also up 1.1%. This rise is driven by anticipation of the US Federal Reserve's interest rate outlook and ongoing Middle East conflict, which has also boosted oil prices over 1%. Silver gained 1.8% to $59.82 per ounce. Sustained international gold price strength could lead to higher local gold rates in Pakistan, affecting investor sentiment and jewellery costs.
