The All Pakistan Petroleum Pump Owners Association (APPPOA) has postponed its countrywide strike for two weeks following successful negotiations with the government. Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik confirmed the deferment, stating the government will address stakeholders' concerns, including dealers' margins, and review the daily fuel pricing mechanism. This comes as international oil markets face volatility due to regional tensions, with the government having already spent Rs100 billion to mitigate rising fuel costs.
