The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has called on the federal government to address petroleum dealers' concerns, fearing an indefinite strike would cripple transportation, trade, and industry. LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol highlighted that fuel supply disruptions and frequent price changes from a proposed daily mechanism would exacerbate inflation and business challenges. He warned that such uncertainty could further weaken business confidence amidst existing economic pressures. This could contribute to a weaker PKR and potentially higher local gold prices as investors seek hedges against inflation and economic instability.
