Gold prices in Pakistan saw an increase on Wednesday, with the price per tola gaining Rs900 to reach Rs425,036. This rise followed a similar trend in the international market, where gold was up by $9, settling at $4,026 per ounce (including a $20 premium).
Similarly, 10-gram gold in the local market was sold at Rs364,399 after an increase of Rs771, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). This gain comes after a decline of Rs5,600 per tola on Tuesday, which had brought the price to Rs424,136. Meanwhile, the price of silver remained stable at Rs6,289 per tola.
This upward movement in local gold prices, driven by international trends, suggests continued volatility, which could lead to further price fluctuations for Pakistani investors and traders.
