PM Orders Push for Agri Exports to Boost Economy
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered a coordinated effort to increase Pakistan's agricultural exports, aiming to expand global market access and find new destinations for farm products. The PM stressed value addition and effective coordination, noting agricultural exports were USD 5.18 billion last financial year. This long-term focus on exports could gradually strengthen Pakistan's current account and provide underlying support for the Rupee.
