The American Petroleum Institute (API) reported a substantial increase of 7.14 million barrels in US crude oil inventories for the week ending September 11, defying expectations. Despite this overall rise, crude stocks at Cushing, Oklahoma, continued their downward trend, while 400,000 barrels were drawn from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR). This unexpected build could exert downward pressure on international crude oil prices, potentially easing inflationary concerns and indirectly influencing the PKR and gold rates in Pakistan.
