TotalEnergies announced a deal where BlackRock's Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) will invest $1.8 billion in certain African oil and gas infrastructure assets. In return, TotalEnergies will pay GIP a tariff for up to 15 years, based on the assets' throughput. This strategic partnership aims to optimize the French supermajor's asset portfolio.
