Oil Surges on Middle East Tensions, US Inventory Draw
Oil prices surged in early Asian trade, with Brent crude climbing 4.59% to $87.95 per barrel and WTI up 4.58% to $82.89. This spike followed renewed Middle East hostilities and a bullish U.S. inventory report, reversing much of Tuesday's selloff. The surge comes after a period of decline following hopes of a diplomatic breakthrough last week.
