Impact on Gold Gold Slips as Fed Decision Looms; Local Rates Drop to Rs427,436/tola
International gold prices experienced a decline as investors awaited the upcoming Federal Reserve policy decision. This global trend, coupled with a firmer US dollar, led to a drop in local Pakistani gold rates. Sarafa market prices fell to Rs427,436 per tola. Concurrently, the Pakistani rupee closed at 277.85 against the US dollar. A stronger dollar and potential Fed hawkishness could put further downward pressure on gold and the rupee in Pakistan.

سرمایہ کاروں کی جانب سے فیڈرل ریزرو کے آئندہ پالیسی فیصلے کا انتظار کرنے کے باعث عالمی سونے کی قیمتوں میں کمی دیکھی گئی۔ اس عالمی رجحان اور مضبوط ڈالر کے سبب پاکستان میں سونے کی مقامی قیمتوں میں بھی گراوٹ آئی۔ صرافہ بازار میں سونا 427,436 روپے فی تولہ پر آ گیا۔ اس دوران، پاکستانی روپیہ امریکی ڈالر کے مقابلے میں 277.85 پر بند ہوا۔ مضبوط ڈالر اور فیڈ کی ممکنہ سخت پالیسی پاکستان میں سونے اور روپے پر مزید دباؤ ڈال سکتی ہے۔
