Govt Adjusts Fuel Prices: Diesel Up Rs1.39, Petrol Down Rs1.70
The federal government revised fuel prices for August 12, raising High Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs1.39 to Rs382.25 per litre and decreasing petrol by Rs1.70 to Rs325.92 per litre. These adjustments, effective until tomorrow, are based on international oil markets and cost factors. While routine, such domestic price changes contribute to the overall inflation outlook, which can indirectly influence the USD/PKR exchange rate.

وفاقی حکومت نے 12 اگست کے لیے ایندھن کی قیمتوں میں ردوبدل کیا، ہائی سپیڈ ڈیزل (HSD) کی قیمت 1.39 روپے بڑھا کر 382.25 روپے فی لیٹر کر دی اور پیٹرول کی قیمت 1.70 روپے کم کر کے 325.92 روپے فی لیٹر کر دی۔ یہ ایڈجسٹمنٹ، جو کل تک نافذ العمل رہیں گی، بین الاقوامی تیل منڈیوں اور دیگر لاگت کے عوامل پر مبنی ہیں۔ اگرچہ یہ معمول کی ایڈجسٹمنٹ ہے، گھریلو قیمتوں میں ایسی تبدیلیاں مجموعی افراط زر کے منظرنامے میں حصہ ڈالتی ہیں، جو بالواسطہ طور پر USD/PKR کی شرح تبادلہ کو متاثر کر سکتی ہیں۔
