Gold price per tola falls Rs 3,131 in Pakistan — 22 August 2026

The gold rate in Pakistan on 22 August 2026 closed at Rs 477,350 per tola for 24 karat gold and Rs 409,251 per 10 grams. The per-tola rate fell by Rs 3,131 from the previous session.

Through the session the 24K rate opened at Rs 480,558, touched a high of Rs 480,558 and a low of Rs 475,750 per tola. These figures come from PakGold's own tick record of the Rawalpindi–Islamabad sarafa market, not a once-a-day posting.

Gold rate by karat today

Alongside gold, silver was quoted at Rs 7,430 per tola, the open-market dollar was Rs 279, international spot gold traded near $4,604 per ounce. Pakistan's local rate tracks international spot gold converted at the open-market dollar rate, plus the premium set in the sarafa market — which is why a move in either input shows up in the tola price the same day.
