JazzCash Disburses PKR 90bn to 3 Million Beneficiaries, Boosts Financial Inclusion
JazzCash has channeled over PKR 90 billion on behalf of government and development partners, reaching more than three million beneficiaries across Pakistan, including 1.48 million women under BISP receiving payments directly into their wallets. This initiative aims to digitalize government-to-person payments, reducing collection costs and expanding financial access for the 40% unbanked adult population. JazzCash plans to deepen this model for welfare, pension, and subsidy programs, while also developing credit, savings, and insurance products. جاز کیش نے رواں سال سرکاری اور ترقیاتی شراکت داروں کی جانب سے 90 ارب روپے سے زائد کی رقم 30 لاکھ سے زائد مستفیدین تک پہنچائی ہے، جن میں بے نظیر انکم سپورٹ پروگرام (BISP) کے تحت 14.8 لاکھ خواتین شامل ہیں جو اب براہ راست اپنے جاز کیش والٹ میں ادائیگی وصول کرتی ہیں۔ اس اقدام کا مقصد سرکاری ادائیگیوں کو ڈیجیٹل کرنا، وصولی کے اخراجات کو کم کرنا اور 40 فیصد غیر بینکاری آبادی کے لیے مالی رسائی کو بڑھانا ہے۔ جاز کیش مستقبل میں فلاحی، پنشن اور سبسڈی پروگراموں کے لیے اس ماڈل کو مزید گہرا کرنے کا ارادہ رکھتا ہے، ساتھ ہی کریڈٹ، بچت اور انشورنس مصنوعات بھی تیار کرے گا۔ یہ پیشرفت پاکستان کی معیشت کو باقاعدہ بنانے کی جاری کوششوں کو اجاگر کرتی ہے، جو بالواسطہ طور پر طویل مدتی اقتصادی استحکام میں معاون ثابت ہو سکتی ہے۔
