Pakistani Rupee Gains Against US Dollar Amid Firm Greenback, Rising Oil
The Pakistani rupee extended its marginal gains against the US dollar on Wednesday, settling at 277.45, a Re0.01 appreciation from Tuesday's close of 277.46. Globally, the US dollar held firm, with the dollar index at 99.67, driven by renewed Middle East hostilities pushing oil prices higher. Brent crude futures rose 1.1% to $95.68 a barrel, extending a significant surge from the previous session. A stronger rupee could temper local gold prices, while a firm dollar and rising oil may influence international bullion and inflation outlooks.

بدھ کو پاکستانی روپے نے امریکی ڈالر کے مقابلے میں اپنی معمولی پیش قدمی جاری رکھی اور 277.45 پر بند ہوا، جو منگل کے 277.46 کے مقابلے میں 0.01 روپے کا اضافہ ہے۔ عالمی سطح پر، مشرق وسطیٰ میں نئی کشیدگی کے باعث تیل کی قیمتوں میں اضافے سے امریکی ڈالر مضبوط رہا اور ڈالر انڈیکس 99.67 پر رہا۔ برینٹ کروڈ فیوچرز 1.1 فیصد اضافے کے ساتھ 95.68 ڈالر فی بیرل پر پہنچ گئے، جو پچھلے سیشن کی نمایاں تیزی کا تسلسل ہے۔ روپے کی مضبوطی مقامی سونے کی قیمتوں کو متاثر کر سکتی ہے، جبکہ ایک مضبوط ڈالر اور بڑھتی ہوئی تیل کی قیمتیں بین الاقوامی بلین اور مہنگائی کے امکانات پر اثر انداز ہو سکتی ہیں۔
