پاکستان کی پانچ آئل ریفائنریز حکومتی پالیسی کے تحت 6 ارب ڈالر کی اپ گریڈیشن کے معاہدوں پر دستخط کرنے کے لیے تیار ہیں، جس کا مقصد مقامی پیٹرول اور ہائی سپیڈ ڈیزل کی پیداوار میں نمایاں اضافہ کرنا ہے۔ اس اقدام سے پیٹرول کی پیداوار میں 72% اور ڈیزل میں 39% اضافہ متوقع ہے، جس سے پاکستان کی درآمدی انحصار اور عالمی تیل کی قیمتوں کے جھٹکوں سے کمزوری کم ہوگی۔ یہ اقدام ادائیگیوں کے توازن کو بہتر بنا کر پاکستانی روپے کو مضبوط کر سکتا ہے اور درآمدی ایندھن سے پیدا ہونے والی مہنگائی کے دباؤ کو کم کر سکتا ہے، جس سے مقامی سونے کی طلب متاثر ہو سکتی ہے۔
