وزیر خزانہ محمد اورنگزیب نے لندن میں عالمی سرمایہ کاروں سے ملاقات کے دوران کہا کہ پاکستان کا مالیاتی استحکام پرائمری سرپلس اور خسارے میں کمی کے ذریعے نتائج دے رہا ہے۔ انہوں نے حکومت کے میکرو اکنامک استحکام، ڈھانچہ جاتی اصلاحات اور آئی ایم ایف کے تمام جائزوں کی بروقت تکمیل پر زور دیا، جس کے نتیجے میں تین ریٹنگ اپ گریڈ ہوئے ہیں۔ وزیر نے توانائی اور سرکاری اداروں میں اصلاحات کا بھی ذکر کیا تاکہ کاروبار میں آسانی پیدا ہو۔ یہ مثبت اقتصادی نقطہ نظر پاکستانی روپے کے استحکام میں معاون ثابت ہو سکتا ہے، جس سے مقامی سونے اور چاندی کی قیمتوں پر ممکنہ طور پر اثر پڑے گا۔
