حکومت نے پٹرول کی قیمت میں 1.93 روپے، ہائی سپیڈ ڈیزل میں 4.21 روپے فی لیٹر کمی کر دی
The Pakistani government has announced a reduction in petrol prices by Rs1.93 per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs4.21 per litre, effective September 24. Following the revision, petrol will retail at Rs390.12 per litre and HSD at Rs414.75 per litre. This move comes amidst previously rising fuel costs, with the government also reintroducing austerity measures and daily price fixing due to the ongoing Middle East conflict. While easing inflationary pressures, this routine domestic price adjustment is unlikely to significantly impact gold or USD/PKR rates for traders.

پاکستانی حکومت نے 24 ستمبر سے پٹرول کی قیمت میں 1.93 روپے فی لیٹر اور ہائی سپیڈ ڈیزل (HSD) کی قیمت میں 4.21 روپے فی لیٹر کمی کا اعلان کیا ہے۔ اس کمی کے بعد پٹرول کی نئی قیمت 390.12 روپے فی لیٹر اور HSD کی 414.75 روپے فی لیٹر ہوگی۔ یہ فیصلہ ایندھن کی بڑھتی ہوئی قیمتوں کے تناظر میں کیا گیا ہے، جبکہ حکومت نے کفایت شعاری کے اقدامات بھی دوبارہ متعارف کرائے ہیں۔ اگرچہ یہ اقدام مہنگائی پر کچھ دباؤ کم کر سکتا ہے، لیکن یہ معمول کی گھریلو قیمت میں تبدیلی سونے یا امریکی ڈالر/پاکستانی روپے کی شرح پر نمایاں اثر انداز ہونے کا امکان نہیں ہے۔
