Pakistan Explores US Financing for PIA, Reko Diq, Refinery Upgrades

وزیر خزانہ محمد اورنگزیب نے نیویارک میں امریکی ایکسپورٹ امپورٹ بینک کے چیئرمین جان جووانووچ سے پی آئی اے کے لیے بوئنگ 787 ڈریم لائنرز سمیت طیاروں کی خریداری اور گراؤنڈڈ 777 طیاروں کے اسپیئر پارٹس کے لیے فنانسنگ پر بات چیت کی۔ بات چیت میں ریفائنری کی جدید کاری اور پاکستان کی مستقبل کی برآمدات کے لیے اہم ریکوڈک منصوبے بھی شامل تھے۔ وزیر نے ڈیجیٹل تبدیلی، ورچوئل اثاثوں کی قانون سازی اور پائیدار ترقی و ترسیلات زر کے لیے کیش لیس ادائیگیوں پر بھی روشنی ڈالی۔ غیر ملکی فنانسنگ حاصل کرنے میں مثبت پیش رفت پاکستان کی معاشی استحکام کو مضبوط کر سکتی ہے، جس سے ممکنہ طور پر روپے کی قدر میں اضافہ ہو سکتا ہے اور مقامی سونے کی قیمتوں پر اثر پڑ سکتا ہے۔
