Pakistan Approves 200,000 MT Sugar Export to Boost Forex

The Cabinet Committee for the Export of Surplus Sugar, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, finalized modalities for exporting 200,000 metric tonnes of sugar. A monitoring committee will oversee domestic sugar prices, while ministries are directed to expedite the process to support the industry, farmers, and foreign exchange earnings.
