بھارتی روپیہ مرکزی بینک کی مداخلت اور برینٹ خام تیل کی قیمتوں میں 1.5 فیصد کمی کے باعث ڈالر کے مقابلے میں 0.2 فیصد مضبوط ہو کر 96.61 پر پہنچ گیا۔ امریکی صدر ٹرمپ کے ایران پر فوری حملے سے انکار کے بعد تیل کی قیمتیں گر گئیں، جس سے سپلائی کے خدشات کم ہوئے۔ امریکی بانڈ کی پیداوار میں کمی کے ساتھ ڈالر انڈیکس بھی قدرے پیچھے ہٹا۔ تیل کی کم قیمتیں اور ڈالر کا کمزور ہونا پاکستان میں درآمدی مہنگائی کو کم کر سکتا ہے اور مقامی سونے کی قیمتوں کو سہارا دے سکتا ہے۔
