سوڈان میں سونے کی کان کے قریب ڈرون حملہ، 30 ہلاک؛ جنگ سونے کی تجارت سے جاری

A drone strike by Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces killed 26 women and four children near the southeastern border with Ethiopia, close to an informal gold mining site. The conflict, ongoing since April 2023, is explicitly funded by Sudan's multi-billion-dollar gold trade, with victims including young girls working to refine gold. This ongoing conflict and its direct link to gold production could introduce supply concerns, potentially supporting international gold prices, which may in turn influence local gold rates in Pakistan.
