The Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) will host its 29th Sustainable Development Conference (SDC) from November 2-5, 2026, at AIOU, Islamabad. The conference, themed "Rethinking Development in an Age of Disruption," will delve into critical areas such as economy, environment, equity, development finance, debt, domestic resource mobilization, and the fiscal policy agenda for 2027. It aims to foster discussions that could influence government policies and private-sector growth. While the conference itself is a discussion forum, any strong policy recommendations or government commitments emerging from it could offer insights into Pakistan's economic direction, potentially influencing long-term USD/PKR stability.
