Juice Industry Urges FBR to Expand Tax Monitoring to All Producers

The Fruit Juice Council (FJC) has urged the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to implement its electronic production monitoring system across the entire packaged juice industry, not just documented companies. The FJC argues that selective enforcement, as per FBR's STGO No. 04 of 2026, would burden compliant businesses and allow undocumented operators to evade taxes. An industry-wide approach is deemed essential for fair enforcement, consumer protection, and broadening the government's revenue base.
