Pakistan Fuel Dealers Threaten Nationwide Shutdown Over Margin Dispute

پاکستان پیٹرولیم ڈیلرز ایسوسی ایشن (پی پی ڈی اے) نے 72 گھنٹے کا الٹی میٹم جاری کیا ہے، جس میں 15 اگست بروز ہفتہ سے ملک بھر میں پیٹرول اسٹیشنز کی غیر معینہ مدت تک بندش کی دھمکی دی گئی ہے۔ ڈیلرز بڑھتے ہوئے آپریٹنگ اخراجات کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے پیٹرول پر کم از کم 8 فیصد مارجن کا مطالبہ کر رہے ہیں، اور 24 گھنٹے کی قیمتوں میں تبدیلی کے طریقہ کار اور کمپنی ایلوکیشن پالیسی پر اعتراض کر رہے ہیں۔ ایندھن کی فراہمی میں یہ ممکنہ تعطل پاکستان میں معاشی غیر یقینی صورتحال کو بڑھا سکتا ہے، جس سے ممکنہ طور پر روپے کی قدر کمزور ہو سکتی ہے اور مقامی طور پر سونے کی طلب میں اضافہ ہو سکتا ہے۔
