Venezuela faces an oil export ceiling of approximately 1.25 million barrels per day, despite strong demand and rising production. Tankers are experiencing delays of up to 30 days to load crude due to a combination of aging port infrastructure, frequent power outages, and persistent crude-quality problems. These operational challenges prevent PDVSA and its partners from significantly increasing exports above this level. Sustained supply constraints from a major producer like Venezuela could contribute to higher global crude oil prices, potentially increasing Pakistan's import bill and exerting pressure on the PKR against the USD.
