Govt Hikes Petrol by Rs12.90, Diesel by Rs3.72
The government has raised petrol prices by Rs12.90 per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs3.72 per litre, effective September 8. Following the revision, petrol will retail at Rs358.77 per litre and HSD at Rs381.77 per litre. This adjustment is part of the daily pricing mechanism implemented since July 17, reflecting international market fluctuations. The continued increase in fuel costs could contribute to broader inflationary pressures in the local economy, potentially influencing the Pakistani Rupee's stability.

حکومت نے پیٹرول کی قیمت میں 12.90 روپے فی لیٹر اور ہائی اسپیڈ ڈیزل (HSD) کی قیمت میں 3.72 روپے فی لیٹر کا اضافہ کیا ہے، جو 8 ستمبر سے لاگو ہوگا۔ اس اضافے کے بعد، پیٹرول 358.77 روپے فی لیٹر اور HSD 381.77 روپے فی لیٹر میں دستیاب ہوگا۔ یہ ایڈجسٹمنٹ 17 جولائی سے نافذ روزانہ کی قیمتوں کے طریقہ کار کا حصہ ہے، جو بین الاقوامی مارکیٹ میں اتار چڑھاؤ کی عکاسی کرتی ہے۔ ایندھن کی قیمتوں میں مسلسل اضافہ مقامی معیشت میں وسیع تر افراط زر کے دباؤ میں اضافہ کر سکتا ہے، جس سے پاکستانی روپے کی استحکام متاثر ہو سکتا ہے۔
