مالی سال 2026 میں پاکستان کی چاول کی برآمدات 31.7 فیصد کم ہو کر 2.29 ارب ڈالر رہ گئیں، جبکہ بحیرہ احمر اور آبنائے ہرمز میں جاری شپنگ رکاوٹوں سے مزید 836 ملین ڈالر کی برآمدات خطرے میں ہیں۔ اس بحران سے مزید 115 سے 334 ملین ڈالر کا نقصان ہو سکتا ہے اور دیہی معیشت سے 28.5 سے 57 ارب روپے کی لیکویڈیٹی ختم ہو سکتی ہے، جو کسانوں اور وسیع تر معیشت کو متاثر کرے گی۔ برآمدی آمدنی اور دیہی معیشت پر مسلسل دباؤ پاکستانی روپے کو کمزور کر سکتا ہے، جس سے مقامی سونے اور چاندی کی قیمتیں متاثر ہو سکتی ہیں۔
