Copper Rises on Weaker Dollar, Tight China Supply; Oil Dips
Copper prices rose 0.2% to $14,645/ton on the LME, primarily boosted by a weaker dollar and tight Chinese inventories. The dollar pulled back from a two-month high, making commodities priced in the US currency relatively cheaper. Oil prices also dipped, easing some inflationary concerns and rate hike pressures. This overall dollar weakness could offer some support to international gold prices, potentially influencing local gold and USD/PKR rates.
