Pakistan Urges Afghan Govt to Shift from 'Militant Mindset' for Regional Peace

He noted persistent issues like militancy and alleged terrorist safe havens in Afghanistan, which have led to cross-border attacks and Pakistani strikes. Tarar emphasized that peace could unlock significant trade and regional connectivity, while warning that Pakistan's desire for peace should not be mistaken for weakness. Continued geopolitical tensions in the region could exert pressure on the Pakistani Rupee and potentially increase safe-haven demand for gold.
