However, a persistent global refinery bottleneck continues to drive diesel prices to record highs in the European Union and United States. This dynamic suggests a complex energy market where increased crude supply is offset by refining constraints, potentially sustaining global inflationary pressures which could influence the US dollar and, consequently, gold prices and the PKR.
