JI Joins PTI's APC to Oppose KP Governor's Rule, Demands Founder's Rights

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) announced its decision to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led All Parties Conference (APC), opposing the imposition of governor's rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. JI Amir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman stated the party would also demand the immediate restoration of meetings for the PTI founder, provision of medical facilities, and bail for detained political leaders. The APC aims to address the federal government's alleged lack of cooperation with KP, non-provision of NFC funds, and broader economic and law-and-order issues. Continued political uncertainty and potential constitutional disputes could heighten investor caution, potentially impacting the Pakistani Rupee and increasing safe-haven demand for gold.
