Pakistan's Agri Exports Could Add $5 Billion Annually with Reforms

Currently, billions are lost due to weak institutions, lack of policy, and failure to meet international food safety and export certification standards, with only 4% of milk undergoing processing. Implementing effective policy reforms, establishing disease-free zones, and modernizing animal health and traceability systems are crucial. Such significant export growth could strengthen the Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar, potentially influencing local gold prices downwards as the PKR gains stability.
