The Inland Revenue Service Officers Association (IRSOA) has expressed serious concern over reports of further structural reforms within the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). IRSOA argues that several major reform initiatives, such as digital invoicing and POS integration, are still being implemented and require sufficient time to mature. They warned that frequent restructuring without assessing existing initiatives could create administrative uncertainty and harm revenue collection. The association urged consolidation of ongoing reforms and a coherent long-term vision for Pakistan's tax administration.
