The Trump Administration is set to announce the easing of federal methane regulations for US oil and gas production, aiming to boost domestic energy output and lower costs for producers and consumers. This proposal, long sought by the American Petroleum Institute, will be unveiled at a campaign rally in Lubbock, Texas. The move could potentially increase US crude oil supply, which might influence international oil prices. For Pakistan, any impact on global crude oil prices could indirectly affect the country's import bill and, consequently, the USD/PKR exchange rate.
