US Oil Inventories Drop 1.9M Barrels, Pushing Crude Prices Higher
US crude oil inventories decreased by 1.9 million barrels in the week ending October 23, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). Commercial stockpiles now stand at 410.6 million barrels, which is 4% below the five-year average for this time of year. This decline, following earlier API figures, has contributed to a rise in global crude oil prices. Higher oil prices could potentially increase imported inflation for Pakistan, indirectly affecting the rupee and broader economic outlook.
