UBS Raises Brent Forecast to $110 by 2026 Amid Gulf Supply Concerns
Swiss bank UBS has revised its Brent crude oil forecast for the second time this month, now expecting prices to reach $110 per barrel by the end of 2026, up from $100. The bank also lifted its 2027 projections by $5 a barrel across the board, attributing the changes to elevated uncertainty surrounding the Middle East conflict and the pace of recovery in Gulf production. Persistent high crude prices could fuel global inflation, potentially influencing central bank policies and putting upward pressure on gold and the USD/PKR exchange rate in Pakistan.
