SBP Reserves Rise $33M to $21.521B, Total Liquid Reserves at $26.754B

The State Bank of Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves rose by $33 million, reaching $21.521 billion for the week ending October 23. This increase contributes to the country's total liquid foreign reserves, which now stand at $26.754 billion, including $5.232 billion held by commercial banks. This modest rise in reserves could offer some stability to the Pakistani Rupee, potentially easing pressure on the USD/PKR rate and indirectly influencing local gold prices.
