Nigeria's Oil & Gas Output Rises to 3.04M Boepd in September

Wednesday, 04 November 2026 · 05:38 PM PKT · PakGold News Desk · 👁 19

Nigeria's state-owned NNPC announced a significant increase in oil and gas production for September, reaching 3.04 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), up from 3.01 million boepd in August. This rise is attributed to the restart of operations at several oilfields, contributing to higher crude oil and natural gas output. Increased supply from a major producer like Nigeria could exert downward pressure on international crude oil prices, potentially easing Pakistan's import bill and supporting the Rupee, while also influencing global inflation outlooks which can affect gold.
