Discos Seek Rs1.34/kWh Electricity Tariff Hike for Q3 2026
The Discos are seeking to recover an additional Rs 23.326 billion from consumers over three months (December 2026-February 2027) through this adjustment, covering capacity, transmission, and O&M costs. NEPRA has scheduled a public hearing for November 17, 2026, to scrutinize the claims, which include Rs 38.917 billion for capacity charges, partially offset by a negative Rs 29.252 billion from incremental units.
