Pakistan Govt Lowers Fuel Prices Slightly for Next Three Days
The government announced a slight reduction in petrol prices by Rs0.12 to Rs336.03 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs0.66 to Rs392.38 per litre. These new rates are applicable from August 1 to August 3. The move comes as fuel prices are now being fixed daily due to international market fluctuations and regional hostilities. This minor adjustment could offer a slight relief to inflation, potentially influencing the USD/PKR exchange rate and, consequently, local gold prices.

حکومت نے پیٹرول کی قیمت میں 0.12 روپے کی کمی کے بعد اسے 336.03 روپے فی لیٹر مقرر کیا ہے، جبکہ ہائی اسپیڈ ڈیزل کی قیمت 0.66 روپے کم ہو کر 392.38 روپے فی لیٹر ہو گئی ہے۔ یہ نئی قیمتیں 1 اگست سے 3 اگست تک لاگو رہیں گی۔ یہ فیصلہ بین الاقوامی مارکیٹ میں اتار چڑھاؤ اور علاقائی کشیدگی کے باعث ایندھن کی قیمتوں کو روزانہ کی بنیاد پر مقرر کرنے کے تناظر میں آیا ہے۔ ایندھن کی قیمتوں میں یہ معمولی کمی مہنگائی پر کچھ دباؤ کم کر سکتی ہے، جس سے ممکنہ طور پر امریکی ڈالر کے مقابلے میں پاکستانی روپے کی قدر اور مقامی سونے کی قیمتوں پر اثر پڑ سکتا ہے۔
