US Crude Inventories Fall Slightly, Distillate Stocks Sink Further
The American Petroleum Institute (API) reported a modest 328,000-barrel drop in US crude oil inventories for the week ending August 14. This follows a significant 9.072 million barrel rise the prior week, highlighting market volatility. Commercial crude inventories, excluding the SPR, have decreased by over 49 million barrels in the last eighteen weeks.
