Pakistan Services Exports Surge 29% in 2MFY27, Boosted by IT
Pakistan's services exports soared by 28.89% to $1.81 billion in the first two months of FY27, significantly boosted by information technology, telecommunications, and other business services. Imports also increased by 9.77% to $2.37 billion during the same period, according to PBS data. This robust export growth, maintaining uninterrupted expansion, contrasts with mixed trends in goods shipments. Sustained improvement in the external sector could provide support for the Pakistani Rupee, potentially influencing local gold prices.

پاکستان کی خدمات کی برآمدات مالی سال 27 کے پہلے دو ماہ (جولائی-اگست) میں 28.89 فیصد اضافے کے ساتھ 1.81 بلین ڈالر تک پہنچ گئیں، جس کی بڑی وجہ انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی، ٹیلی کمیونیکیشن اور دیگر کاروباری خدمات ہیں۔ اسی عرصے میں خدمات کی درآمدات بھی 9.77 فیصد بڑھ کر 2.37 بلین ڈالر ہو گئیں۔ برآمدات میں یہ مضبوط اضافہ، جو مسلسل جاری ہے، اشیا کی برآمدات کے ملے جلے رجحانات کے برعکس ہے۔ بیرونی شعبے میں مسلسل بہتری پاکستانی روپے کو سہارا دے سکتی ہے، جس سے مقامی سونے کی قیمتوں پر اثر پڑ سکتا ہے۔
