Petrol price up Rs1.82/litre, HSD down Re0.91/litre in Pakistan
The government raised petrol prices by Rs1.82 per litre to Rs396.65, while high-speed diesel (HSD) saw a reduction of Re0.91 per litre, now retailing at Rs394.94. These new prices, effective from October 8, include significant taxes and duties of Rs114/litre on petrol and Rs100/litre on diesel. The revisions reflect ongoing adjustments to international market trends and government policy. حکومت نے پیٹرول کی قیمت میں 1.82 روپے فی لیٹر کا اضافہ کرتے ہوئے اسے 396.65 روپے پر مقرر کیا ہے، جبکہ ہائی اسپیڈ ڈیزل (HSD) کی قیمت میں 0.91 روپے فی لیٹر کمی کی گئی ہے، جو اب 394.94 روپے میں دستیاب ہوگا۔ 8 اکتوبر سے نافذ ہونے والی ان نئی قیمتوں میں پیٹرول پر 114 روپے اور ڈیزل پر 100 روپے فی لیٹر ٹیکس اور ڈیوٹیز شامل ہیں۔ یہ ایڈجسٹمنٹ عالمی منڈی کے رجحانات اور حکومتی پالیسیوں کے مطابق کی گئی ہے۔ اگرچہ یہ معمول کی ایڈجسٹمنٹ مجموعی مہنگائی میں حصہ ڈالتی ہیں، لیکن سونے یا امریکی ڈالر/پاکستانی روپے کی شرح پر ان کا براہ راست تجارتی اثر عام طور پر محدود ہوتا ہے۔
