Pakistan Vows Intensified Campaign Against Indian-Backed Terror Groups

Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir declared Pakistan's intent to intensify its campaign against Indian-sponsored terrorist outfits, stating forces will strike them wherever they operate. During a visit to Peshawar, he was briefed on prevailing security and counterterrorism efforts, commending troops and directing heightened vigilance. This strong stance on regional security could heighten geopolitical risk, potentially influencing safe-haven demand for gold and adding volatility to the USD/PKR exchange rate.
