Govt Decreases Petrol & Diesel Prices by Rs2.20/Rs1.50 for 3 Days
The Ministry of Energy announced a reduction in fuel prices, with petrol now at Rs327.60 per litre (down Rs2.20) and high-speed diesel at Rs380.86 per litre (down Rs1.50). These revised rates, effective from Saturday, August 8, will remain in place until Monday, August 10, 2026. This adjustment follows the government's petroleum pricing mechanism, reflecting international oil markets and other cost factors. Such minor domestic fuel price adjustments typically have a limited direct impact on gold or currency rates in Pakistan.

وزارت توانائی نے پیٹرول کی قیمت 329.82 روپے سے کم کر کے 327.60 روپے فی لیٹر اور ہائی سپیڈ ڈیزل کی قیمت 382.36 روپے سے کم کر کے 380.86 روپے فی لیٹر کر دی ہے۔ یہ نئی قیمتیں ہفتہ، 8 اگست سے پیر، 10 اگست 2026 تک لاگو رہیں گی۔ یہ ایڈجسٹمنٹ بین الاقوامی تیل کی منڈیوں اور دیگر لاگت کے عوامل کی بنیاد پر حکومتی پیٹرولیم قیمتوں کے طریقہ کار کے تحت کی گئی ہے۔ پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں اس طرح کی معمولی گھریلو ایڈجسٹمنٹ کا پاکستان میں سونے یا کرنسی کی شرح پر براہ راست محدود اثر ہوتا ہے۔
